The Importance of Friday

Friday is the best day of the week  in Egypt . Imam Bukhari and Muslim in Egypt reported that Prophet Mohammad (PBUH) had said. "We (Muslims) came last and yet are the first day of the trial received the books before us ( ie , the Torah and Gospel ) . Already received the book after them the Qur'an . Friday was the day to be glorified. Yet they do not agree on this point , though God had told us Friday is the day to glorify . therefore we continue . Jews glorify Saturday, and the Christians glorify Sunday . "

Also narrated by Imam Muslim in Egypt, Abo - Dawod Al- Nesaii and Al- Termithi that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said : "The best day on which the sun rose Friday East. day Adam was created. s' is the day when Adam entered paradise and also when he was taken out of it. Moreover, is the day that the day of judgment takes place . "

Muslims must make the following Fridays :

Men are required to attend Friday prayers . Allah (SWT) says in Surah Al- Jumauah  , what can be translated as " O" you who believe! When the call to prayer Friday seriously accelerate the remembrance of Allah and leave your trading . it is better for you if you knew . "

Moreover , the Prophet Muhammad (saws) warned not to attend Friday prayers . Imam Ahmad and Muslim reported that the Prophet Muhammad ( saws) said about people who do not attend Friday prayers , "I wanted to ask a man to lead the people in prayer so that I may go and burn houses men who did not attend the Friday prayer with us " He also said reported by Imam Muslim, Ahmad and An - Nesaii , " O ( ie , people who do not attend the prayer Friday) stop neglecting Friday prayers or Allah will set a seal on their hearts so they can not find their way back " in another authentic hadith reported by Abu Dawod , Termithi , an- Nesaii Ibn e . - Majah , that the Prophet (peace be upon him) said: " Who does not attend three Friday prayers , ( without a valid excuse) Allah will put a seal on his heart "

It is also recommended to increase supplication especially at the last hour of the day because it is the hour when requests are answered by Allah. In an authentic hadith narrated by Imam An- Nesaii , Abu- Dawod , and Al- Hakim, that the Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: "Friday has 12 hours, one of which is the time which granted cries of Muslims . This hour is sought at the last hour after Asar . "

Were encouraged to wish peace be upon the ProphetMuhammad ( peace be upon him ) during Friday and Friday night in egypt because of an authentic hadith reported by Imam Abu - Dawod , An- Nesaii , and Ibn - Mayah , the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said : .. " Best Day is Friday Friday Adam was created , and died on Friday is the first time the trumpet ( ie when every creature dies ) and the second contact ever touching the trumpet (in reference to the resurrection ) therefore increase the number of times you want peace in me since this prayer appears to me " they asked him .. It is also recommended that Muslims recite Surah Al-Kahf , because of the authentic hadith reported by Imam Al- Baihaqee , and Al- Hakim, that the Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: "Who is reciting Surah Al -Kahf on Friday Allah will give him a light to the next Friday . "

It is also recommended that Muslims in EGYPT clean and wash and make sure they feel good when they attend Friday prayers . Imam Bukhari and Muslim reported that the Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: " .. Every Muslim is obligated to wash on Fridays and wear his best clothes should also wear perfume if you have"

It is important to arrive early for Friday prayers . All hadith collectors, except Ibn Majah - , reported in an authentic hadith that the Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: "If you wash , then went to the Friday prayer , it is considered as if he donated a camel for the sake of Allah. However, if left in the second hour , it is considered as if he donated a cow and if the third hour then as if he gave a big sheep and if the fourth hour then as if he donated a chicken and if the fifth hour then as if he donated the egg. Then when the Imam starts delivering the speech the angels come and listen . "Always in the authentic hadith reported by Imam Abu- anthers Dawod that the Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: " On Friday the angels come to stand on the doors of the mosque ( mosque ), the recording angels comes first, if the Imam starts delivering the speech, the angles close their files and come to listen to the speech . "

It is forbidden to work on Fridays after the call to prayer was announced because Allah says in the Qur'an , the Friday prayer , what can be translated as, " When the call to prayer Friday hasten serious the remembrance of Allah and leave your trading . "

In addition, it is forbidden to talk during the sermon. Several sayings of the Prophet Muhammad  covers this topic . In an authentic hadith reported by (the group of hadith collectors ), except Ibn Majah - that prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: " If you told your friend to pay attention to Friday while the imam is delivered the speech then you committed a sin of vain talk . " Another authentic hadith has been narrated by Imam Ibn Majah and Attermizi - that prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) said: "Even who touches the gravel on the floor and then committed trivia , and you undertake that there will be ( Jumuah ) Friday for him. "

It is also disliked to walk between sitting people during Friday gathering unless there is an empty space to fill . In a case reported by Imam Abu authentic hadith - Dawod , An- Nesaii , and Ahmad that , a man came and started walking between people during a meeting on Friday whilethe Prophet Muhammad ( peace be upon him ) gave his speech , the Prophet said, " Sit because you caused harm to other people and you were late . "

Not legislated to consider Friday as a day off and not work during it. Because Allah (SWT) says in Surah Al- Jumu'ah , (verse 10) , which can be translated as, " And when the prayer is finished, then you may disperse in the land and seek the grace Allah . " It was not a habit of one of the companions to consider Friday as a day to stop working . On the contrary Imam Al -Malek said: " This is not like taking Friday off since we will be resembling the Jews and Christians to take, respectively , Saturday or Sunday off . "

Finally, there are two important issues for us in this country to be warned . First, we must not neglect the Friday prayer because of work , study, or other matters . All Muslims must attend Friday prayer as a priority. It is important to do because ignoring three times without good reason causes the heart to be sealed in the right way .

The second issue to consider is the rupture of a participation in the importance of Friday EGYPT. This is particularly important for the generation of more and more people who are accustomed to the notion of the weekend is Saturday and Sunday and know almost nothing about the importance of Friday in the eyes of Muslims. Therefore, it is our duty to remember and the big day is the best day of the week and try to pass according to Islamic teachings.
