Why are veil and Islamic clothes compulsory in Islam?

One of the many questions that were put to me , which is why Islam are compulsory hijab (Islamic women clothes)for women? Islam has introduced hijab as part of decency and modesty in interaction between members of the opposite sex. Verse 59 of chapter 33 city already gives a very good reason , he said,"It is more appropriate so that they can be known ( Muslim women ) and thus not be harassed or molested  .
Men, whether they admit it or not, are slaves of lust and desire.

Islamic women clothes protects women from men , it symbolizes that she was sanctified one man and is off- limits to everyone else.

Hijab contributes to the stability and preservation of marriage and family by eliminating the chances of extramarital affairs.

• Finally, it forces people to focus on the true personality of the woman and de- emphasizes her physical beauty . It puts the woman in control of the foreign reaction to it.

Commenting on the attire of women in North Africa and South Asia East Germaine Greer, one of the pioneers of the women's liberation movement , wrote:

"Women who wear Islamic clothes or huipiles or saris or salwar kameez or djellaba or other loose clothing may swell and diminish inside them without embarrassment or discomfort. Women with shawls and veils can breastfeed anywhere without drawing attention to themselves, while the baby is protected against dust and flies. In most non-Western societies , the dress and ornaments of women celebrate mothering function . Bears deny .

Note that it also specifically mentions the salwar , kameez and djellabas that are used by Muslim women in the East.

Feminists and Western media often portray the hijab as a symbol of oppression and slavery of women. This sexist angle to see the hijab reflects the influence of Western feminists who are subconsciously react to the notion Judea - Christian Sailing - " the symbol of the submission of the wife to her husband .
To watch own religious or cultural history of one and a judgment against another religion is on the softer side , an error intellectual calculation , and on the harder side , outright cultural imperialism ! My father has made an interesting observation in an article that when Europeans entered the interior of Africa a century ago , they found a few tribes who were naked . They forced the tribes to wear as a mark of civilization. "Now , these defenders of " civilization " are themselves shifting their clothes. People often wonder if the" primitive tribes "of the last century are not more civilized than the rest of the world. After all, it is the rest of world is now imitating the ways of the so-called primitive society.

I 'm surprised the company that shows tolerance towards those who want to go topless, but finds it difficult to tolerate a lady who , by his own choice wants to observe the islamic women clothes ! According Naheed Mustafa , a Canadian Muslim, " In the Western world , the hijab has come to symbolize the radical or forced silence, unacceptable activism. In fact, it is neither . It is simply an affirmation of a woman 's judgment of her physical person is to play no role in social interaction. Wearing the hijab has given me freedom from the constant attention of my physical being. Because my appearance is not subjected to an examination , my beauty , or perhaps lack thereof , has been removed from the realm of what can legitimately be discussed.

Islamic women clothes are not a symbol of oppression. Women are oppressed for socio -economic reasons, even in countries where women have never heard of hijab. Instead, the practice of posting pictures of almost naked women in advertisements, billboards, and in the entertainment industry in the west is a symbol of oppression.

Nor the hijab prevent a woman to acquire knowledge or contribute to the improvement of human society . Historically women have also contributed significantly to Islam. Lady Khadija , the first wife of the Prophet, has played an important role in the early history of Islam. A successful business woman in her own right , she was the first person to accept the message of the Prophet Muhammad (saw) . Acceptance and faith were a great source of emotional support for the Prophet . She stood by her husband in the difficult days of early Islam , and spent his wealth for the promotion of the new religion.

The first Muslim person to be martyred in Muslimhistory was a woman named Sumayya 's wife and the mother of Yasser Ammar . She was killed with her husband for refusing to renounce Islam .

Lady Falimatu 'z - Zahra ', the daughter of the Prophet Muhammad , was a beacon of light and a source of advice for women of her time . She stood faithfully by her husband , Imam Ali, in his fight for his right to the caliphate , and strongly protested against the first violation of the right of inheritance for women in Islam.

One of the most important events in the early history of Islam has been the case of Karbala , which was a protest led by Imam Hussein against the tyranny of Yazid . In this event , the soldiers of Yazid massacred Husayn and about seventy- two of his followers. It was the sister of Hussein , Zaynab , who continued social protest and was very influential in achieving enlightenment among the people to rise against the tyranny of rulers. Zaynab has greatly contributed to the factors that eventually cause the fall of the Umayyads.islamic women clothes
