Hundreds of protesters are killed as Mubarak and his allies are trying to crush the uprising .February 11 - Mubarak resigned and the army took control The military dissolved parliament
and suspended the constitution, meeting two key demands of protesters.

November 28, 2011 , February 15, 2012 - Parliamentary elections in Egypt multistage weeks long of Egypt. In the lower legislative chamber , the Muslim Brotherhood won nearly half the seats and the ultraconservative Salafi to another room . The rest goes to the liberal , independent and secular politics . Senate largely powerless , Islamist take almost 90 percent of the seats .
